BEEKEEPING UNIT KISARAWE DISTRICT COUNCIL
The unit currently has two staff of which one is the head of the Unit. The following table shows the current status of staff of the unit.

Currently the unit has 18 beekeeping groups in 18 villages, the groups have 343 members among them 214 are men and 129 women practicing beekeeping. The total number of beehives owned by the group is 1,060 transitional beehives.
